The Adam Lounge Chair is designed by the Swedish designer Kerstin H. Holmquist during her employment at Nordiska Kompaniet, NK, in 1958. Adam is the masculine piece of Holmquist’s Paradiset Collection, where all names are inspired by “Paradiset” – the Swedish name for Eden or Paradise. With its sculptural and organic form, the Adam Lounge Chair holds a soft simplicity with an air of romance. The armrests run over smoothly into the high back and provides elegant, round and embracing curves with optimal support.
