We call this new fabric "Milky Way." It's a tribute to the work of Steven Seinberg, one of our very favorite artists, whose paintings take our breath away with their lightness and beauty. He has not endorsed this, we are just true admirers. Milled by hand in JG Switzer's design workshop, and made of four types of wool: Shetland grey, Cream, local Mendocino Fibershed breeds, Merino and Black Blue Faced Leicester. Shetland sheep wool listed on the Livestock Conservancy list as an "at-risk" breed. Rich, natural brown and grey, no two alike. Pillow back is made from our soft & luxurious Lambswool & Cashmere Blend in Black - for ultimate coziness.
