Modrock is a design story of the crafting of two forms and two materials, entities in dialogue, that tell a simple story about relationship, connection and InterBeing. Both forms begin from the same geometric shape, two rectangular forms identical in dimension. A marble form and a timber form are cut, each outline expressing a new identity. The two materials contrast and juxtapose in tone, grain and colour, but are also unified as one symbiotic union; each telling their unique story.
