A stylishly simple glass for savouring cold drinks, the Strandgade Drinking Glass is equal parts function and nostalgia. Copenhagen-based architects Mentze Ottenstein took their design cues from their local neighbourhood when creating their Strandgade series for MENU, named after the historic street in which they reside. Looking to the classics, the gently fluted design in clear, mouth-blown glass is available in two traditional shapes: tumbler and cooler. Each sit comfortably in the hand and fit effortlessly into any tableware collection thanks to their understated aesthetic. N.B. We recommend handwashing the glasses and avoiding stacking, which can result in breakage due to the fine, handcrafted design.
